The Municipal Job Center of Groß-Gerau (AöR) currently supports around 21,000 people in approximately 9,500 households in the Groß-Gerau district with around 400 employees. We help citizens receiving welfare benefits to develop their potential, find suitable employment, and achieve financial security.
People are at the heart of what we do. As an accessible service provider, we have five decentralized service offices throughout the district.
The Municipal Job Center for the District of Groß-Gerau sees itself as an active partner in the municipal community of responsibility.
MainArbeit. The Offenbach Municipal Job Center is an independent agency of the city of Offenbach. It performs all tasks of the city of Offenbach as an approved municipal agency under Social Security Code II (basic security for job seekers).
Our employer service offers support in placing job seekers across all industries. Together with employers, we determine requirement profiles, analyze the professional and social skills of our applicants, and make tailor-made staffing proposals for vacant positions.
MainArbeit focuses on supporting job seekers in their professional and social integration. Particular emphasis is placed on individual support, tailor-made qualification measures, and cooperation with local companies.
Our website www.mainarbeit-offenbach.de provides comprehensive information about the services and projects offered by the municipal job center.
Creative Change e.V. accompanies people on their way to a self-determined future – whether through support in finding work, German courses for refugees, opening doors to participation, or creative meeting places for older people.
Our goal is to broaden perspectives, strengthen community, and give everyone the chance to develop their potential.
The Dietzenbach Youth Council represents the interests of Dietzenbach's young people in local politics and advises the authorities of the district town of Dietzenbach on all matters affecting young people.
It currently consists of 10 boys and 10 girls between the ages of 13 and 20. It thus forms a bridge between the young urban population and local decision-makers and the city administration.
The Youth Advisory Council plans, organizes, and implements programs for the youth of Dietzenbach with the aim of meeting the needs of our younger urban population.
The Youth Advisory Council is supported by other young people who form the so-called “Youth Participation Group.”
This group consists of boys and girls who are interested in bringing their ideas for Dietzenbach's youth into city politics and thus making their voices heard together.
WISA – Wir sind angekommen e.V. (We Have Arrived) is a non-profit association that promotes social participation and equal opportunities for people with a history of flight and migration.
Our goal is to build bridges between people from different backgrounds, promote intercultural exchange, and enable sustainable integration. It is particularly important to us that the voices of young migrants are heard and taken into account. They bring valuable perspectives, ideas, and experiences that enrich our society. That is why we are actively committed to ensuring that they have the opportunity to get involved, help shape society, and participate in social decisions.
Through educational opportunities, networking, and community activities, we create spaces where both young and older people can learn from each other, gain new perspectives, and actively participate in social life.
We place particular emphasis on empowerment, digital participation, and strengthening one's own voice in society. Our association thrives on commitment, diversity, and the conviction that everyone can make a valuable contribution to the community.
We work with partners from various fields to create sustainable structures that accompany and support people in the long term.
WISA – Wir sind angekommen e.V. stands for an open, inclusive society in which all people have the opportunity to develop their potential and actively participate.
